I've stepped on a rusty nail. help?

basically i've stepped on a rusty nail around 1 hour ago. i was helping carry somthing and stepped right on it it went through my dolly shoes and poked into my foot around 1 cm deep in my foot. my foot has bleed a little not pouring of blood but bleeding and i can see under the skin is purple.i've put germoline on and a plaster. it hurts to walk on and hurts even when resting like a throbbing pain around the hole. do i need a tet shot. if so do i need it asap or can it wait until the early morning.
