Head phone help! my head phones have bad sound quality, yet it was great the past month! i need ur helppp!!!!!

HEY! i need help. i was using my head phones this morning with my sansa sandisk mp3 player. when i bend the wire it gets staticy, and for sum reason it nvr happened b4. is it the cold weather or something else. is it water or something in it.
