Is the UK ripe for another Peasants' Revolt?

Unfortunately I can see a swing to the far right happening which the tabloids will have steered us into. The ironic thing is that the people who read the tabloids and who will vote for it will be the ones who get shafted by it. If this doesn't kill us we'll swing back to centre when we get sick of it again.
