Strengthening a door panel?

The vehicle is a 93 grand marquis, so after 17 years and 90,000 miles of slamming the doors the inside trim/panels (all one piece) has developed some flex and noises. All of the clips are strong and the panel fits tight around the edges however if you look at the center of the panel while you shut the door there is quite a bit of flex. I really want to fix this but not sure how to go about it. I thought about screwing it down at different points but I dont want them to show and there really isnt a good place for the screws. I thought about reinforcing the back of the panel but not quite sure how I would do that. If anyone has experienced this issue (with any car) and found a decent way to cure it please feel free to chime in. Keeping everything to appear stock is a must, the interior is flawless except for this.

How do i hook up my onkyo speaker to my stereo?

i have an onkyo speaker, and i have the wires hooked through my new house. the builders hooked up the ones on the roof, but i have a (base, im pretty sure) speaker, and i dont know how to hook it up. i have the power cord and the cord that sends it signals to play music already hooked up to the stereo. but when i turn on my stereo, the speaker doesnt do anything. all my others speakers have and are working fine. Will a toner ruin my over-processed hair?

About 2 weeks ago, I bleached my hair from a dark brown. Parts of it turned orange and other parts did what I wanted. I decided to try a different bleach and leave it in longer until it was the color I wanted. I did that, but now it is gummy and kinda bright. I know gummy means damaged beyond repair, but a friend told me to put a toner to help the brightness. Will a toner damage my hair worse? Should I just do choleserol treatments for a while and leave it alone? Is it true that a protein filler might help with the gumminess? I am not a hair dresser, but I am skilled at this. I also can't afford to go to a hair dresser. They usually don't do what I want anyway. I only buy products from Sally, so they are professional grade.

How to stop my 6 month old puppy from chewing up the floor in the bathroom?

We have a wonderful, sweet and smart puppy that we rescued at 3 1/2 months and were told he was a boxer/Shepard mix (he seems like he may actually be a Great Dane or Mastiff/boxer mix though) and he is now 6 months old. We have had no problems at all with him chewing up until yesterday. We make sure to keep plenty of bones and toys around him and he always chews on those but yesterday we found him chewing up the linoleum flooring in the bathroom. His bone and two toys were nearby and he didn't seem to be doing it to be rebellious at all. All of his teeth came in last month so I don't know if he could still be teething but I don't want him to wreck the floor. Anyone know a good way to get him to stop this? We thought the bitter off stuff would work but I didn't want to get that if there was a better way to go about it. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Where can I live with a convenient public transportation system?

I currently reside in Southern California, and I love the weather here. I am not very good with cold climates. My only issue is my strong dislike of driving. So Cal is not convenient, even in the bigger cities, in terms of m transportation. I have traveled to San Francisco, London, and Tokyo, and really enjoyed the train/metro/subway systems. If I were to live somewhere in the U.S. or Canada, or even globally, where do you recommend? San Francisco and London were a little too rainy, chilly, and gloomy for me. It hurts sooo bas wen i pee!!!?

Ever since two days ago it has started to burn extremely bad wen I pee it makes me almost cry...Idk wat to do i think that i may have a UTI or a cut inside my . It only hurts while I am peeing and for like a min. after im done. I have to go constantly but its nvr that much. Help me with my roses!!?

I just planted rose bushes(double knockouts) on Sunday. I live in the correct zone for them, it has been about 70 degrees here since then. I had to replant them on Monday because I though they needed to be a little more raised up for proper drainage. I was real careful with all of them, not being rough at all (afraid of damaging the roots). So, they were watered everyday except yesterday because it rained. Today, i come home and they are all looking like they are dying now. I immediately watered them. What am i doing wrong, they get sunlight for about 7 hours, which everything I've read says that they only need 5 hours. Please help me.

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for almost 2 years now with no success. I'm on my 2nd cycle of clomid (100 mg on days 5-9) but I really don't think I ovulated this month. I downloaded the driver for the audio interface and i know it is compatible with my version of windows vista... Why does my rear windshield wiper fluid spray when I use my car heater?

Every time I turn on my heater (including defrost) in my 2003 Dodge Durango the rear windshield wiper fluids starts to spray and will not stop unless I turn off the heat completely...by the time I get to work it empties out my wiper fluid. I can't use the heater/defrost on freezing days because the fluid starts to freeze. How can these two things be connected?

1985 Chevy S10 Blazer 2.8L Automatic 4WD - Have transmission work done three times in 1 1/2 years. Repairman says govenor keeps breaking (whatever that means) and will happen again. Shifts hard going into 3rd gear only when in Overdrive position, does not do it in Drive position. At 50mph or higher can slip from D to OD and shifts fine into OD. What's going on with my truck?

Over the past year I have been having a roller coaster of a relationship. Me and my boyfriend always heads when dealing with our problems, I for one like to talk and sort things out right away while my boyfriend likes to distance himself from me. What's wrong with disciplining children and why does society have so much to say about it? I have a 3yr old and I do not beat her until she pes out. I her if she is misbehaving or disrespectful. I ed her rear (3 taps, not a full blown beating) and another customer in the store I was in said I had no patience, meanwhile his kids were loud, running around, and tearing things down and they were preschool age. I hear teens curse at their parents. I would never...even now and I am in my 30's. What's the deal? I say 'spare the rod and spoil the child.' These kids nowadays sure look spoiled to me. When is it malpractice?

I had major surgery on the 20th, was sent home on the 21st, by the 23rd i knew something wasn't right (because of the pain i was in), on the 25th I was in the emergency room which warranted a $75 co-pay. the doctor that i saw in the emergency room not only told me that he helped in my surgery (never seen him in my life) but he told me my white blood count was at 18000 (11000 is normal) which indicated that i had an infection, he gave me narcotics for pain and sent me home, on the 27th i was back in the clinic of my doctor who did the surgery, I had a thorough exam (which I didn't get in the emergency room) my blood count was even higher, she immediately sent me back to the hospital for a CT scan and dicoverd that i did in fact have an infection, i was immediatley admitted, stayed for 6 days and had to have surgery again. My feeling is i shouldn't have to pay the co-pay and the doctor that i seen (he's my doctors partner) should be reprimanded for lack of care, had he did what he gets paid to do i would have been admitted the day i went to the emergency room instead having to endure more4 pain and suffering. I have exceptional medical coverage thru my job.

On my 2002 ford focus when i was driving today with no noise or possible warning my left rear wheel detached from my vehicle. The Lug nuts where still connected to the wheel as well as half of my drum brake. There is an investigation against ford by the NTHSA about this problem. I wasn't aware of the recall untill it happened to me. This website http://www.safetyforum.com/fordfocus/recalls.html is an example of this problem. Do you agree that most people misuse the phrase "judge not lest you be judged"?

I can see where that phrase can be used when someone is trying to belittle someone and build themselves up by pointing out their sin, but what about when someone is genuinely concerned about whether they are truly walking with God or not, particularly when they themselves call themselves a Christian, or even worse, witnessing to other people and preaching the Gospel without even having witnessed the Holy Spirit themselves? Wouldn't it be my business then? The Bible says to examine oneself daily to see if you are in the faith, so wouldn't be a good idea to tell someone they ought to examine themselves? A PRS SE Custom or a Fender Standard Stratocaster? My birthday is coming up and I plan on using the money towards one. The PRS runs about $600 and the standard Strat is $400. I've only been playing for about 7 months now and this would be my first electric guitar. I really have no knowledge on electric guitars and what to look for, but I want a guitar that will last a lifetime and that will be a good investment. I know its all about personal feeling when playing, and how it feels in your hands, but I'm really just wondering if its worth it to go with the PRS and fork over the extra 200 if I like playing it more. A long story short..... I live in Kansas. There is a home I want to purchase that was foreclosed on about 9 months ago. I went thru the county taxes and found who owned it prior to foreclosure. I talked to them and found out which bank owned the title, who I then called and was told the property needed to be prepeared, but the foreclosure was finalized. I called them back about a month and a half later and they said they dont "think" they own it and give me numbers to 3 other banks, none of which know anything about it. Why are great artists today so undervalued?

I've seen some paintings done by some people on the ABC channel and some of them are fantastic. They match the realism and authenticity of some of the great artists of the past. I dare say that many are even better than what Pico did. There are also great film composers who's compositions are as great as those written by the old composers of the past but they're hardly recognized. What's going on? Even at school and uni whenever a lecturer or a teacher mentions an artist or composer it's always someone who's long gone.

Sharing secrets with the wrong people?

I shared a deep-routed secret with my neighbour/friend about the abuse I suffered when I was a child, including being ually violated in a number of ways and I'm afriad this person now sees me in a different light. Dislocated toe problem?

Well a fortnight ago I was dancing and my toe that's next to my 'pinky' toe went snap and just sorta gave and I could feel the middle of it just sticking into the ground (my dance teacher had popped it back in almost straight away) I also got light headed and went really pale too after about 10 minutes. I went to the chemist afterward and I got some ibuprofen for the swelling. It's was bruised all around my toe and surrounding areas of my foot. It still hurts and swollen. Mum told me to stop strapping it a few days ago, but I reckon I did something to it because the following Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday I had dance competitions and my friends watching said I was all wobbly when I was doing stuff on that foot. I've been told it's dislocated but it looks really bad and I wanna know if I should still have it strapped and for how much longer. I have the school cross country which is like 2k in retarded terrain next Thursday and on top of that I walk to and from school too.

I've stepped on a rusty nail. help?

basically i've stepped on a rusty nail around 1 hour ago. i was helping carry somthing and stepped right on it it went through my dolly shoes and poked into my foot around 1 cm deep in my foot. my foot has bleed a little not pouring of blood but bleeding and i can see under the skin is purple.i've put germoline on and a plaster. it hurts to walk on and hurts even when resting like a throbbing pain around the hole. do i need a tet shot. if so do i need it asap or can it wait until the early morning.

My boyfriend and I are looking for a house to rent. We have looked at a very nice, newer home with 4 bedrooms (granite countertops, hot tub, new carpet, HUGE master bedroom with walk in closet) but we can't afford it without renting out 2 of the rooms and we don't have any friends looking for places so we would be living with students we don't know. (I live in Davis, CA - so major college town) OR we can rent a MUCH older and more run down 2 bedroom on our own. It is quite a bit smaller, definately been a bit used and abused with some ancient appliances. The bathroom in tiny, the cabnets look like they are falling apart cardboard, but still usable, and they complany might replace the stove since it looks like it is from the 50s maybe earlier ;) And not as much light in the house either. But it would be just us and the dog, plus the yard is decent. We will pay the same amount at either one. What should we do??? I would love imput please help.

Hello. My girlfriend and I have been dating for 8 months now and we just recently started college and both of us are 18. Our relationship is great and I believe I love her very much. She's helped be quit being self-destructive, abusing drugs, and get over my many problems such as anger issues. She's helped me a lot and I feel I owe a lot to her as she's also led me onto the track that school's important. I've also helped her in return where she's had a few boyfriends that treated her very poorly and I was the first one to ever treat her like a real person instead of just an object and also have helped her through some family and friend issues. She says she really loves me but considers school a higher priority whereas I consider her my first priority. Now I understand and have thought this through quite a bit but is this fair? I mean she was even considering dating other guys to "confirm her feelings" for me when she said that she still loved me and it seems that her words are hollow. I know school's important and all, but in my opinion, true love should be a priority. I mean I'm currently studying to become an investment banker while she is studying to become a teacher. I would easily miss a final for a cl or even drop my career plans entirely if she so desired. I don't believe this stems from immaturity but from my willingness and commitment to having a good relationship. After all, in my opinion love should be what makes someone happy, not a career or money. What I basically see from this is that her want to become a teacher is more important to her loving and being with me? I thought many other scenarios and such and it all just seems that I'm not that important to her and that I definitely care more about her than she cares about me. I've always taken care of her even if it means getting out of my way to do so whereas she seems only to be interested in me when it's convenient for her. Am I being unfair? I know that if I "really" loved her I'd support her in her goals, but it feels a little empty to hear her say she's loves me so much yet her goals are more important than me. I mean what if I said if my career was more important than her? Obviously I'm considering that I may not be with her forever and marry her as since I'm 18, there's plenty of fish in the sea and am still very young, but I'm posing this question to see if I'm being unreasonable or if it's grounds to maybe reconsider this relationship even though I love her a lot, I'm not so sure how long I can keep going if she doesn't love me back with the same devotion. We live in a forest and for 10 years made do with a dusty dirt driveway until last week when we hired a paver. The contractor paved right up to our garage door opening and all along the edge of the house on that side, covering up the bottom inch of about 20 feet of the 4' X 8' sheets of doug fir siding. I know this is bad because it provides a hidden entrance point for wood-eating bugs to get up into the framing and start munching on our house. I can't pry the plywood out from under the asphalt, so what can we do to eliminate this problem of the paving coming up too high? This forest is filled with hungry termites and wood borers that would love to start feasting on our home!

If what you described is all you do I would say it's pretty sedentary. If you belong to a sports team or play outside a lot, swim etc after school or on the weekends then that would make it different. You have no choice but to be seated most of the day at school - it's what you decide to do with your time that you are in control of. Walking through a shopping centre won't cut it for what you need on a daily basis. You should be getting a good 30-60 minutes of brisk cardio activity 4-7 days a week where your heart rate is elevated and you are breathing more rapidly. (That doesn't mean a thrilling movie or video game ha ha ha). The point is, if in doubt, bump it up. It can't hurt to do more but it can hurt if you aren't doing enough. Join a team/club or just get outside and kick a ball around/ride your bike. Hope that helps.

Just adding to Pleccys outstanding advice: Small volume tanks are tricky and difficult. 12 gal is not too big for freshwater. For good looking reef tank parameter stability way more important than for freshwater. I wouldn't recommend anyone start reef tank on less than say 50 gallons. If you are experienced and can keep up with maintenance then good luck.

Anyway, I am very interested in getting a large dog for my family, one that is good with kids, has a low-medium energy level, and has good health. I am aware of the controversies surrounding irresponsible dog breeding and puppy mills, as well as "mutts" (mixes/hybrids/developing breeds.) What I like about Thunderheart breeders, is that they seem to really care about how the dogs are taken care of, you have to sign detailed contracts upon purchase saying that you will feed the dogs GOOD food, and basically take excellent care of them. You cannot just dump them, you have to return them to the breeder if at any point you are unable to care for them. Also, I don't mind having a mutt haha, and I like the idea of a mostly old english mastiff that has is leaner and has better health like a Cane Corso. My question is, I would REALLY love to hear what people's personal experiences have been with this breeder/these dogs, so far everything I have heard from people with personal experience has been very pleasant, and everything from people without personal experience has been very negative. well....i like this girl and the only people who know, i think, is this girl who i was really good friends with until she moved and another one of my "girlfriends." i told them not to tell any one else and i believe they didnt.
